Modelling of CFRP-Strengthened RC Shear Walls with a Focus on End-Anchor Effects

This study first provides an overview of the development a novel tube anchor system for seismic strengthening or repair reinforced concrete (RC) shear walls with carbon fibre-reinforced polymer (CFRP) sheets. The new can significantly improve load transfer mechanism between CFRP and supporting RC structural elements, resulting in ductile behaviour strengthened increases lateral capacity ductility by up to 2.6 8.3 times, respectively. then presents finite element modelling technique capable capturing complete cyclic response, i.e., from elastic ultimate collapse CFRP-strengthened newly developed system.
